When Jaylene woke up, she still felt terrible about what happened last night with Ricky. "Great, my first day in NYC and I already chased away someone who could have been an amazing - and real - friend, and possibly my only friend," Jaylene said to herself as she was getting ready for school. On her way to school, she was silent. Then, as she entered the school, she saw Ricky. "Ricky! Wait up! I need to talk to you!" she called after him. He stopped, but didn't turn around. He knew who it was. When she caught up to him, she said, "Look, I know you'd rather ignore me than associate with me, but I'm truly sorry for what I said last night. I hate judgemental people too, and I had no right to say such a thing! Please forgive me." Ricky just smiled, "Okay, apology accepted." As Ricky and Jaylene were walking, they unfortunately ran into Bryan and his crew. Bryan ignored Ricky and said to Jaylene, "Hello, beautiful. My name is Bryan Masters. Are you new here?" Jaylene looked him up and down and replied, "I am new here. My name is Jaylene Wilson. Can I give you a piece of advice?". She didn't know him, but she already knew his type. "Sure, anything, sweetheart. What's an English angel like you doing with a loser like Alvarez?" By this time, she was steamed. "For your information, he's not a loser, and when other people judge the people I care about, I never talk to them again. My advice to you is to leave us alone before we make you leave us alone!" Bryan didn't seem the least bit insulted. "That's okay, Jaylene. You're just reeling me in closer. I like girls hard to get!" he called after her as her and Ricky walked away. Then, Ricky spoke up, "You know Masters, Jaylene is not a yoyo. She's not something you expect to come back. I hate to be a heartbreaker, but you're chances with Jaylene are nada. Go pick on someone who cares."
